Emma H. Wade passed into eternity on Monday, December 6, 2010, in Ft. Worth, TX. She was born in Slocum, TX. Emma married the love of her life, W. B. Wade and they moved to San Antonio, TX. After W.B. passed away, Emma raised her girls in San Antonio and then lived in Marble Falls and recently lived in Ft. Worth, TX. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. Surviving are her daughters, Elaine Hansen (Rod) of Ft. Worth, TX, Eileen Smith (W.T.) of Burnet Co., TX; granddaughters, Dannielle Everett, Wendy Flynn (Stacy), Brandi Banks (Matt); great-grandson, Atticus Wade Banks; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 1902 Vance Jackson, San Antonio, TX 78213. Burial will be private.
