Emmanuel "E-Man" Luis Torres

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Emmanuel “E-Man” Luis Torres, age 14. Though his time with us was far too short, Emmanuel lived each day with joy, purpose, and an unwavering faith in the Lord.

From an early age, Emmanuel carried a light within him that touched everyone he met. He was a confident speaker who boldly shared the word of God, never shy about telling others of the saving grace found in Christ. He believed deeply in the promise of salvation—that though life brings trials, through grace we are secure in our eternal home in Heaven.

Emmanuel was a young man of many talents. He was a gifted musician, filling hearts with music that reflected his love for God. On the baseball field, he shined with determination and teamwork, earning the respect of his teammates and coaches alike. In every setting, Emmanuel brought energy, warmth, and encouragement.

Even in our grief, we find comfort in Emmanuel’s own belief that “our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all” (2 Corinthians 4:17). His life, though brief, was a testimony of faith, resilience, and joy - a reminder to live boldly and love deeply.

Emmanuel was proceeded in death by his grandmother, Rachel Solis. He is survived by his loving family – parents, Marisa and Luis Fernando Torres; brothers, Efren Torres and wife Victoria and Samuel Luis Torres; grandparents, Elias Torres and Lina Alfara and Pastor Jimmy Solis and Peggy. E-Man was also a proud uncle to David Reign Torres. He will be remembered by numerous extended family members, countless friends, and a community forever changed by his presence. Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in knowing that he now rests in the arms of his Savior.

A visitation will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Rock of Revelation Church (4714 Roosevelt Ave), with a Celebration of Emmanuel’s Life taking place at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
