Enrique D. Martinez

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one can ever fill. Some may think you are forgotten, though on earth you are no more. But in our memory you are with us, as you always were before. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rosa Martinez and two sons, Enrique (Ricky) Martinez, and Ron Martinez and his wife Jannette of San Antonio; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Manuel Martinez of McKinney, TX, Johnny Martinez of Kermit, TX and Ruben Martinez of Odessa, TX; three sisters, Delia Madrid of Odessa, TX, Lorina Juarez of Odessa, TX and Lisa Ortiz of Kermit, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Margarita Martinez and his sister, Eulalia Marrufo.

Viewing will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm with rosary following on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Marks the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1602 Thousand Oaks in San Antonio. Interment will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Porter Loring Mortuary North.
