

In her younger years, Lupe found joy in sewing and tending to her beloved rose garden. She had a passion for baking, creating countless treats from her well-worn Betty Crocker cookbook, filling her home with warmth and the comforting aroma of homemade goodies. She was an avid sports fan, rarely missing a game of her favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs.
Lupe loved caring for her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She gave back to her community by volunteering at the neighborhood school.
Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Vicente Longoria; her children, Macario Longoria and Sylvia Rios; her parents, Pablo and Juana Amar; and her brother, Teudule Amaro.
She leaves behind a legacy of love carried on by her daughters, Estela L. Garza, Lydia Longoria, and Armendia Guerrero. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
Lupe’s kindness, strength, and dedication to family will forever be remembered by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. On Thursday, April 3, 2025 our doors will open at 8:30a.m. followed by procession for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St John Berchmans Church, 1147 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78226, followed by burial at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237.
