Eric Eduardo De Leon

Eric Eduardo De Leon was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He entered into the loving arms of our Lord on July 22, 2022 at the young age of 51. He was born March 9, 1971, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Ramon and Juana Maria (Bolado) De Leon. His family moved to the United States when he was seven years old, and lived most of his life in San Antonio,Texas. He was a 1990 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School.

Eric was an A/C technician, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was also a talented cook; his specialty was BBQ. Some of his favorite meals to prepare and share were fajitas, brisket, and menudo. He always made sure everyone was well fed and enjoyed his cooking.

Eric is survived by his father; Ramon De Leon; his children Marissa Marie De Leon (Brandon), and Eric Robert De Leon; mother of his children Lorraine Marie De Leon; siblings, Juana M. Herrera (Rolando), Teresa Cano, Cesar De Leon, Ramon De Leon (Rebecca), and Salvador De Leon (Damaris). He is preceded in death by his mother Juana Maria (Bolado) De Leon, and brother-in-law Mark Cano.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM, with a rosary at 11:30AM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, Texas, 78237. Funeral mass will follow at 1:00PM at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, Texas, 78226.
