Eric was born on June 14, 1997, and lived his life in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by family and friends who deeply loved him.
Eric was full of life—his bright smile and goofy personality could light up any room. He had a natural gift for making others laugh and bringing joy wherever he went. An athlete from a young age, Eric grew up playing football, baseball, and basketball, but his true passion was dancing. No matter where he was, you could always find him moving to the beat.
Eric also had a deep love for his family, friends, and most importantly, his faith. He never hesitated to share the word of God with those around him. Despite the hardships he faced, Eric’s belief in the Lord remained unwavering. His strength, resilience, and spirit of faith will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving mother, Neva Garza, and his siblings: Ramiro Zamora III, Janel Zamora-Chapa (husband John Chapa) and Alyssa Rodriguez; his grandmother Janie Closna; his beloved nephews, John Issac and Alijah; and his precious nieces, Jaelanie and Jalayah. He also leaves behind a large extended family of uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramiro Zamora Jr., whom he now joins in everlasting peace.
Eric’s laughter, light, and love will never be forgotten. His memory will forever live on in our hearts. We love you, Eric. Dance freely in heaven.
