

Ermelinda Solano Juarez, also known as Linda or Hermelinda, entered the loving arms of Our Lord on January 4, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 17, 1941, to parents, Rufina Martinez and Samuel Solano.
Ermelinda found joy in baking, creating beloved treats like coffee cake, pecan tasssies, and biscuits, which became family favorites. A talented knitter, she spent her quiet moments crafting with care and love. Beyond her hobbies, she dedicated herself to nurturing those around her, helping to raise her siblings with unwavering devotion. Linda shared an incredible passion for exploring new places and traveling, often cherishing family camping trips to Garner State Park, Lost Maples State Park. She also built a fulfilling career, working at Miller Curtain for 12 years and later at a daycare for another 12 years, touching countless lives along the way.
Linda will be reunited in heaven with her Husband Benny Juarez, parents; Rufina and Samuel Solano; siblings, Baby Lydia Solano, Adelia Prieto, Celia Perez, Feva Valdez, Baby Alfredo Solano, Samuel Solano, Ted Solano Sr., and Gilbert Solano.
Ermelinda's teachings will forever resonate with her sons; Ismael "Smiley" Juarez (Yolanda Juarez), Roland Juarez (Marisa Arreola), Javier Juarez (Mariam Juarez); Honorary son, Kenneth "Kenny" Perkins; surviving brothers, Armando Solano, Felix Solano, and Fred Solano (Emma); 9 grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
