Ernest Charles Moreno

Ernest is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Moreno, sister, Evangeline Longoria, son Jason Ernest Moreno, granddaughter Ariel Lynn Martinez, nieces Jacqueline Longoria and Alexandrea Moreno.

He is survived by his daughters, Miranda Moreno (Vincent Sanchez), Elizabeth Moreno (George Segundo Jr.), Valene (Michael) Kirk, Jessica Moreno, along with ex-wife and baby maker Norma H. Moreno.

Brothers, Rene Moreno, Mario (Alma) Moreno, Brother-in-Law, Joe Longoria, Niece Genevieve (Russell) Beckett, Nephews Justin Longoria and Jacob Ortiz, Grandchildren Pamela, Patrick, Marilyn, Abraham, Illyria, Micheal, Owen, Angel, Avery, Annalisa, and one soon to be Great Granddaughter Lydia Grace.

He was a hustler through and through—always busy, always moving. He enjoyed watching all sports but football was his favorite as a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. Ernest passionately loved watching General Hospital , listening to all kinds of music, traveling, cooking up any concoctions, and his greatest time was being “Grandpa Ernie” to his grandkids which they called him.

Visitation for Ernest will be Monday July 14, 2025, at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd. San Antonio, TX 78211 from 12:00pm - 10:00pm with a Prayer service at 7:00pm. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
