Ernest Villela Jr.

Ernest Villela Jr., born on November 26, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas to Ernesto Villela and Helen Sanchez, entered into the loving arms of Our Lord on August 5, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and creativity. As the oldest and only son, Ernest's presence was a cherished gift to his family and all who knew him.

A graduate of the class of 2002 from Holmes High School, Ernest was known for his sharp wit and his ability to bring joy to those around him. Whether he was immersed in a video game, laughing at cartoons, or indulging in his favorite Thanksgiving meals, Ernest always found ways to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

He had a natural talent for drawing and spent countless hours bringing his imagination to life on paper. But perhaps what he will be most remembered for is his infectious sense of humor. A true jokester at heart, Ernest had a unique gift for making people laugh, and his playful spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ernest Villela Jr. will be forever remembered for the joy he brought into the world and the warmth he shared with those he loved.

Ernest will be united in heaven with his grandfather; Baldemar Sanchez, and grandmother; Celia Villela.

Ernest will forever be remembered in the hearts of his parents; Helen Cameron and Ernesto Villela, his siblings; Nicole, Alexis, Tina, Angelina, his grandparents Mike and Imelda Sanchez, and grandmother; Fina Lopez, along with 13 nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins and extended family and friends.

A visitation for Ernest will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237. A rosary and chapel service will recited at 11:00 AM. A committal service will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
