

On March 23 2017, Sgt. Ernest "Trey" Gil Ybarbo III and his wife Jessica Jimenez Ybarbo were called home to the Lord. Trey is survived by his son Dominic Ybarbo, mother Janette Acosta Hayes, father James Hayes (Kathy), maternal grandmother Victoria Acosta, paternal grandmother Elaine Hayes, sister Desiree Carney (Philip), brother Kenneth Hayes and Gregory Hayes, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece.
Jessica is survived by her mother Janie Jimenez, father Frank Jimenez, maternal grandparents Rudolfo and Maria Garza, paternal grandparents Frank and Sabrina Jimenez, sister Ericka Garza, brothers Eric Jimenez, Adam Jimenez, Jason Garza, and Ruben Garza, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Trey served bravely in the United States Army from February of 1999 until 2006, with 1 tour of duty in Operation Iraqi freedom in 2004/2005. He then Served in the Texas Army National Guard from 2006 until 2010, with 1 tour of duty in Iraq in 2010. Trey later went on to attend and graduate from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology. Trey was a proud and loving father to Dominic, devoted husband to Jessica, caring son, and beloved brother. He will be remembered by many for his charm, wit, and wonderful sense of humor.
Jessica graduated from Stockdale High School in 2000, and attended Seguin Beauty school where she graduated in 2001. Jess has worked as a cosmetologist for the last 15 years in New Braunfels. She was a loving and devoted wife, and caring step-mother to Dominic. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered by many for her fun-loving personality, keen fashion sense, and her deep love of her family.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Porter Loring Mortuary North Chapel from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM.
