He was a loving husband of 56 years and a wonderful father and devoted grandfather. While he will be missed, we are comforted by knowing that he is with his loving wife, son and daughter.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Olivia; infant son, Hector; and daughter Sylvia.
He is survived by his children, Elda De La Garza and husband, Guillermo, Ernest Acevedo, Jr and wife, Diana, Olinda A. Cisneros and husband, Johnny, Gracie Esquivel and husband, Tony, Ana Belia Franco and husband, Roy, Oscar Acevedo, and Hector Acevedo and wife, Sherri; twenty-six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one brother and two sisters.
