Ernesto was born on November 7, 1931 in Harlingen, TX to Jose Aleman Infante and Maria (Renaud Gomez) Infante. On January 10, 1954, he married Elena Herrera. They raised two daughters, Magdalena and Yolanda, and one son Alejandro.
Ernesto was a Korean war veteran, and a carpenter by trade. He had a passion for the Lord and never hesitated to share his testimony of how God transformed his life. Every year he read the entire bible from cover to cover. He ran track in high school. He loved watching westerns, Whataburger with root beer and Snickers. No one was a stranger, just a friend he hadn’t yet met. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his servants heart. His favorite pass time was listening to his wife sing and play the piano.
Ernesto was preceded in death by his father Jose, mother Maria, wife Elena and daughter Yolanda. He is survived by his daughter Magdalena Infante Garza; son Alejandro Infante; daughter in law, Claudia; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his brother, Alfredo Infante; cousins, nieces and nephews.
