Esther R. Andrade

Esther attended Harlandale High School and later worked in the library at John Jay High School, where she touched the lives of countless students with her kindness and warmth. She was a magnetic presence—known for her infectious smile, her beautiful singing voice, and the genuine compassion she showed to everyone she met.

Her family was the center of her world. She shared 50 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Ricardo Andrade, and took great pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ricardo; her daughters, Andrea and Valerie; her sons, John and Ricardo Jr.; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her brother, Frank Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Rodriguez.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on May 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm.

A Chapel Service will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on May 4, 2026, at 10:00 am followed by a Processional that will take us pass her residence one last time, and continue to Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX 78253, for Burial.

Esther will be deeply missed, and the love and light she brought into the lives of others will remain a lasting legacy
