Esther Cardenas

Esther lived a life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.

She graduated from Memorial School and was a devoted employee for Panifico Bakery for many years.

She loved gardening, playing cards, dancing and listening to music. She enjoyed playing scratch-offs, spending time and cooking for the family. She had a fondness for celebrating life with drinks and smoking her favorite cigarettes.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Cardenas and Maria De Jesus Urivas Cardenas; siblings, Rosa Munoz, Maria Alderete, Alberto Medina and Feliciano Medina.

She is survived by her loving children, Richard Cardenas (Victoria), Oscar Medina, Veronica Walizer (Scott), Esperanza Salva (Francisco) and Anna Herrera; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Vicenta Medina, Estella Medina and Cesario Medina.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m

Services will conclude in the chapel.
