Esther Ancira Guevara

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 plus years, Rodolfo Guevara, her parents Carlos Ancira and Lillie Gonzales Ancira, Sister Elia Martinez and nephew Joe Martinez Jr.

She is survived by Sisters Connie Tabhan, Pauline Landin and Brother Pete Ancira. Sons; Rodolfo Guevara (Shirley), Ricardo Guevara (Angelina), Daughters; Rosalinda Guevara Gonzales (Robert), Rachel Guevara, Ruth Reta (Adrian) and Rebecca Sheridan. 25 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Esther was a dedicated parishioner of St John Berchmans Catholic Church. She served as a member of the Guadalupanas, SJB choir and Rosary makers as well as devoting countless hours to various church activities and functions. Being a part of the church was one of her greatest joys. She loved Elvis and was a passionate Spurs fan, but number 1 for her was all her grandchildren when it came to their various sports and extra-curricular activities.

Esther was a wonderful woman with a big heart. She opened up her home and gave unconditional love to anyone who needed it. She was the heart and soul of her family and there are no words to express just how much she will be missed.

Her legacy of “Paying it Forward” and always staying humble and kind will forever live on through the lives she touched.

She is finally reunited with the love of her life in the kingdom of heaven.

May she rest in eternal peace.
