Eugenia “Jeanne” Campbell, age 89 of San Antonio, TX, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 8, 1936 in Quezon City, Philippines to the late Gaudioso Dapilmoto, Sr. (Pop) and Maurica M. Dapilmoto (Big Mama).
Jeanne loved being outside with her plants, whether it was tending to her orchids or caring for her colorful plumerias. Jeanne was truly happy surrounded by God’s beautiful plants. In December of 1966, she took ownership of her first and only new car…her beloved 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, painted in her favorite color red.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Pop and Mama, brothers, Gaudioso Dapilmoto Jr; Ernest Dapilmoto and her sisters Julie Yarborough, Lily Camarce and Elsa Billingsley.
She is survived by her husband, James Campbell; son, Lance Campbell; grandchildren, Madison Campbell and Austin Campbell. Her brother, Wilfredo Dapilmoto,;Sisters Perlita Strong and Christina Hunter as well as many nieces and nephews.
