Eulalia Granado Rios

Eulalia (Lala) Granado Rios entered eternal rest at 91 years of age on Saturday, October 7. Eulalia was a strong, funny, and vivacious woman who loved her family dearly. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and community member. She appreciated all aspects of life, from small kindnesses and loving embraces to naughty jokes. She enjoyed sports, wrestling, and a good novela.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Antonia Granado (née Aguillon); her siblings, Felicitas, Josefa, Reyes, and Maria; and her beloved husband, Francisco.

She is survived by her children, Magdalena and husband Albert Hoag, Fernando Rios, Margarita Dougherty, and husband Donald; Marcela Rios Benshetler and husband Jeff, and Frank Rios, Jr, and Partner Stephanie Winslow; Her daughter-in-law, Martha Rios; Her Grandchildren, Margie Ann Juarez, Monica Ann Hernandez, Hector Hernandez, Jr., Fernando Rios Jr., Fabian Rios, Armando Lopez, Ana Maria Del Rio, Arthur Barquin, Jr., Tristen Rios, Aidan Rios, Kolten Rios, and Josh Hall; her Great-Grandchildren, Jonathan Jacob Hernandez, Serena Ann Cortes, Adrian, Isaiah, and Hector Javier Hernandez, Jr. Malia and Miyanna Barela, Elena, Jose, Francisco, Angel, and Juliette Lopez; Her Great-Great Grandniece, Na’Laya Ann Ozuna among numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Eulalia will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at , 2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78211 with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. A mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7701 somerset rd, San Antonio, Texas 78211 with interment to follow at First Memorial Park, 20567 TX-16, Von Ormy, Texas 78073.
