If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for me, and place them in my Friend Eva Green's arms and tell her they're from me.  Tell her, that I love her and I will miss her, and when she turns to smile, please place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for a while.  Remembering her is easy, and I do it everyday, but there's a ache within my heart that will never go away.

My dear precious cousins, I am so sorry Neil and I were unable to attend the Service for Aunt Eva. She was such a sweet, funny and caring lady, whom I loved very much. She had a way that always made a person feel so special. There are numerous memories to keep us all smiling, as we miss her. I think of you all with loving sympathy at the loss of your dear mother. May you all find comfort in your memories of her.

Greene Family, Please accept our heart felt prayers.  We met your mom at Bible Baptist Church where she was a member and my husband first met here at Mission Road.  Ms. Greene left a void in many lives, but her legacy of love for her family, friends, church and her Savior lives on.  She was a great tesimony of a Christian for her grandchildren to look up to.  I will treasure her stories of her life and as she told them with a smile and lot's of laughter. ONe day soon we will see her in heaven again and rejoice as she does today.  Heaven is brighter today with her in it.

Ronnie, Lannie, John, Don, Tom & family, we were so sorry to hear Aunt Eva passed away. I feel we were blessed to have her with us and she left us with many happy memories.  Our thoughts & prayers are with you all in this time of mourning.  May God Bless and comfort you all at this time.

I knew Mrs. Green when she was a resident at Regent Care Nursing Home in San Antonio.  Her room was across the hall from my Mom, Mrs. Olivia Lopez.  I would always say hello to her and on occasion, we would speak about her family.  She was proud of her sons and always spoke lovingly about them.

She was always very lucky at Bingo and won often.  I would be there playing Bingo with my Mom and would often tease Mrs. Green about locking her in her room so Mom could win.

One day I noticed that her room was empty, her bird cages and feeders were gone and I thought the worst.  I was so relieved when I learned that she had been transferred to a nursing home in Medina County, which is the county that my husband and I reside in.  

Several weeks after she left Regent Care, I sent her a card to let know that I was thinking about her but didn't hear from her.  I don't what her condition was at that time.

She was very sweet person, I thought a great deal about her after she left and was saddened to see her picture in the paper today.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all, I know this must be a sad and difficult day for all of you.  She is smiling down on all of you,  I know that because of her sweetness and the love in her voice when she spoke about her family.
