Eva Maria Michael

Eva was born in Breslau, Germany to Albert and Margaritte Klein on January 3, 1934. During WWII the family relocated to Stade, West Germany where she attended school and learned English. She came to Ann Arbor, MI on 11/11/1955 to be with her sister, Suzanne Amy. With the help of the Catholic Church and Father Bradley she was able to immigrate to the United States where she finally became a US Citizen in 1995 in San Antonio. Eva married Clifton Edward Michael on November 4 , 1961. She was happy to raise her family in the United States and had a deep love for our country. She valued hard work, a clean home, beautiful clothes and art. She always had a song in heart and a kind word for all.

Eva is preceded in death by her son, David Wells Michael, her parents, and her sister, Suzanne Amy, and brother, Peter Gradion.

Eva is survived by her husband, Clifton Michael; daughter, Denise Valliant and husband, Allen Valliant; brother, Michael Klein (Koln, Germany) and many loved nieces and nephews in Germany, Pennsylvania, and California.

Funeral services will be held 12:30pm, Monday, March 10, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park, San Antonio, TX with the Deacon Reynaldo Jasso of St. Rose of Lima, officiating. Burial will follow.
