Evangelina was born in Devine, Texas, resided in San Antonio, Texas where she passed peacefully from Earth into eternal rest surrounded by her loved ones. She was known as a devoted mother, loving grandmother, sister, and aunt.
She is lovingly reunited with her parents Bonifacio and Margarita Contreras, brothers Ruben Contreras and Roberto Contreras, son Michael Anthony Gonzalez, and granddaughters Ava and Jade Gonzalez.
Her legacy lives on through her brother Rick Contreras (Monica), sister Elva Martinez and Gilbert Moreno. Daughters, Gina Moreno, Ivonne Moreno, Roni Ortega and Elida Cano; six granddaughters; 12 grandsons; 15 great-children; and numerous nieces and nephews.
