Eva May Wilson

On January 17, 2011, Eva May Johns Wilson, after having been loaned to us, her family for 63 years, 5 months and 17 days made her final journey home to be with our Heavenly Father. Ms. Eva, as she was known to many of her friends and associates, worked in customer service for the last 40 years, having worked at J’s food Stores, LDDS Metro Media, World Com, Washington Mutual Bank and J. P. Morgan Chase Bank. She moved from Longwood, FL in 1978, and retired in 2006 due to health related reasons. Ms. Eva loved life, people and after retirement, loved to help her life mate as he traveled around central Texas performing weddings. Ms. Eva is survived by Bill Wilson; Sons Mike Wilson and his partner Paul Beck of Honolulu, HI; Kris Wilson of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Kelley R. Martinez and husband George of Cibolo, TX; grandchildren, Michelle and Gabriel Martinez of Cibolo, TX; brother, Thomas Johns and nephews Dustin and Travis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 5:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. With a Memorial Service 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, The American Heart Association, or The Arthritis Foundation.
