Evangelina G. Herrera, age 95, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cruz T. Herrera; brothers, Frank M. Gomez and Leonard Gomez; sister, Conchita Gomez; mother, Rafaela Gomez and father, Manuel J. Gomez. Evangelina is survived by daughters, Rose Mary Comer (Ron) and Isabel Herrera; son, Arthur Herrera (Cheryl); grandchildren, Timothy Herrera, Keith Herrera (Nikki) and Stephen Herrera; great-grandchildren, Evelynn Herrera, Alyssa Herrera, Ethan Herrera, and Aleya Antoine; and numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 7:00p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Avenue.

The family would like to thank the physicians and staff of San Antonio Home Health and Hospice, and El Amparo Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Home Care for their compassionate care of our mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Dementia Association.
