Evangeline "Vangie" Berg

Vangie was born in Uvalde, Texas on August 16, 1931. She was received by our Lord on February 14, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Berg after 56 years of happy marriage and her children, Michelle Berg, Michael Berg (Sherry) and Marie Berg; two grandsons, Sean Berg (Megan and baby Vivian) and Dane Berg ; sister, Ruby Wright; nieces and nephews: Ricky Ricardo, Cindy Ricardo, Danny Ricardo, Antoinette McCarthy, Debra Wright, Kathy Martinez, Yolanda Paredes, Andrew Pedroza, Sandra Pedroza, Janie Rico, Jennifer Negrete, Henry P. Yanez, Debra Phillips, Mark Phillips, Deanna Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Sonya Pedroza, Tracy Pedroza, Kimberly Pedroza, and Allison Pedroza. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Jesus Pedroza and Josefina Olvera Pedroza and siblings, Juanita Pedroza, Consuelo Pedroza, Raul Pedroza, Joe O. Pedroza, and Sarah Phillips. Visitation for Vangie will on February 26, 2017 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road from 6-9pm, with a Rosary being recited at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on February 27, 2017 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr. A reception will follow the Mass and interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
