She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick O. Evans, Sr.; parents, William A. and Ruth Tietschert Kaupert; sisters, Frankie Kaupert Traut, and Mary Kaupert Mueller; brother, William Kaupert, Sr.; daughters, Mary Martha Evans and Catherine Evans Dennis; granddaughter Elizabeth Evans; and son-in-law David S. Rubio.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Fred O. Evans, Jr. and wife, Susan; daughter, Gail Evans Rubio; 8 grandchildren, Fred O. Evans, III, David Jordan Rubio, Leslie Rubio Elizondo, Nicole Rubio Ross, Joe Dennis, Jason Dennis, and Jennifer Dennis Smith; 14 great-grandchildren, Jordon Rubio, Hannah Rubio, Josh Dennis, Jakob Dennis, Jessica Dennis, Gillian Smith, Sydney Smith, Alegre Elizondo, Ethan Elizondo, Max Elizondo, Diego Elizondo, Leila Elizondo, Josephine Ross and Samuel Ross; sister, Callie Kaupert Welborn; brothers, Forrest James Kaupert and Joseph Lee Kaupert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
