Evelyn A. Voigt, age 91, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on February 7, 1920 in San Antonio, Texas to Willie & Mary Boeck. Evelyn was a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary Post #2059; and a member of Hermann Sons in Kirby. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gus Voigt; sister & brother-in-law, Lillian & Melvin Bachle; and brother, Edgar Boeck. Survivors include her daughter, BJ Voigt and numerous friends. Visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jacob Payton officiating. Services will conclude in the chapel.
