Exa Belle Nunez, born on June 11, 1954 in Lufkin, TX. was called to be with our Lord on February 26, 2016 at the age of 61. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin Luther and Mennie Loggins; brothers, Martin, Pete and Jimmy Loggins. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Nunez; children, Corey Griffin (Kimberly), Daniel Ray Nunez, Mark and Mathew Nunez; granddaughter, Madeline Griffin; mother-in-law, Ofelia Vara; sisters, Alma Daniels, Diane Clark and Betty McDonald; brothers-in-law, Fernando and Shirley Gonzales, Raymond and Francis Nunez, Roland and Sara Nunez; sisters-in-law, John and Rosemary Arreola, Elizabeth Barboza and Laura Carmona. The meaning of Exa dying so young is she will be missed by all who knew her. God came to Exa and said come with me so that she would not hurt anymore. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
