Zeke Gonzales of San Antonio, TX was born on March 9, 1922, and passed away on March 7, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel R. and Fidencia Gonzales. He is survived by his wife Florence, children: Ricardo Gonzales and his wife Jade, Robert Morriss and his wife Kris, Joel Gonzales, Mario Gonzales and his wife Marcella, and Gloria Fidencia Sitterle and her husband Scott. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Amber Davidoff and her husband Alex, Crystal, Drew, Kip, Gabriel, Gideon, Madison, Phillip, and Cliff. Great-grandchildren: Melody and Kira.
Zeke was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, his personal Savior. He was a World War II Veteran, and during his 20 years in the US Navy he served on the USS Mississippi, USS Golden City, USS Wilke, USS Healy, USS Everglades, USS Des Moines, and the USS Galveston. After the Navy he worked 20 years as a civil servant at Lackland AFB.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 10 from 6pm – 9pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday March 11, 2016 at 12PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
