Faustino Gutierrez, Sr., age 89, went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on February 15, 1924 in Marion, TX to Tomas & Martina Gutierrez. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed. He worked and retired after 37 years for Civil Service at Randolph Air Force Base.
Mr. Gutierrez was preceded in death by his wife Rita Gutierrez in 2004.
He is survived by his 4 children, Faustino Gutierrez, Jr., Alicia Gutierrez, Sylvia Benavides & husband Raul, and Cindy Racco; 6 grandchildren, Jenna Nicole Gutierrez, Zachary Gutierrez, Ryan Mitchell, Reid Mitchell, Jack Gordon, Ava Benavides; sister, Lily Hidalgo; nephew, Daniel Lopez;
The Rosary will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest, San Antonio, TX 78209. Services will conclude at the church.
