

Faye Marie Miller Alexander was born on March 16, 1956, to LC Miller and Doris Miller Evans in San Antonio, Texas. She was the first child out of three children. Faye comes from a blended family of many siblings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers; LC Miller Jr., Ronnie Adam, Jeffrey Evans, Ronnie Hammond, Joe Hammond, two sisters; Dorothy Adam and Joyce Hammond-Beck, one brother-in-law; Carl Turner Sr., and a mother-in-law; Eddie Turner.
Fay Fay attended San Antonio Independent School District. She also attended Healy Murphy High School, where she graduated from. Fay Fay continued her education by attending St. Phillips College. She went right into the work force working at various jobs, starting at Luby’s Cafeteria, Ella Austin Daycare, Nurse Aide, Mickey Mouse Daycare, and working at Evans Daycare alongside her mother.
Fay Fay met and married the Love of her Life James Alexander and to that union two children were born, a son Abbrom Alexander and a daughter Jenerica Alexander. James had children from his previous marriage creating a beautiful, blended family that added, four boys; James Alexander Jr., Joshua Alexander, Johnny Alexander, and Jermaine Alexander and one daughter; Gwendolyn Henry. Faye and James also raised Raven Powell as their daughter. Four God children; Venisha Houston, Samyah Taylor, Jesse Bosier, and Fred Alexander.
Fay Fay loved the Lord so much, you could always find her at church praising God, she would wind up that right arm and let go in a shout and dance giving God all the Glory. She started her walk with God when she was very young at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, Mount Ararat Baptist Church under the leadership of late Reverend Jim Richardson, then to Greater Evangelist temple COGIC, where she was under the leadership of the late Supt. C.W. Stewart, and now serving under Pastor Verell Nelson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas.
Funeral Service will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Greater Evangelist Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 2946 Martin Luther King Dr. San Antonio, Texas. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
