Felicitas Martinez

Felicitas Martinez, age 80, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Monday, November 15, 2021. She was born in San Antonio on September 12, 1941 to Ascension Martinez and Felicitas Cruz Martinez. Felicitas retired from Miller Curtain Company, where she worked as a seamstress. She was a proud member of her church, Madres Christianas and the "Ladies from the Black and White Club". She had a passion for life, gardening, the outdoors, travel, fashion, baking, cooking, painting, dancing, making tamales, cascarones and anything that was D.I.Y projects and much more.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Victor Martinez and Rosalio Martinez and her sister Elodia Villarreal

She is survived by her brothers Mario B. Martinez and Ascension Martinez; daughter, Elia Davila (Rudy), son, John H. Martinez (Alma); 3 grandchildren, Marcus A. Davila (Sabrina Trevino), Lorenzo Davila, Esme G. Campos (Jerry); great grandchildren - Esmay Medrano, Noah Medrano, Felix Davila, Apollo Davila, and sister-in-law, Estella Martinez, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation for Felicitas will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, from 10 am to 1 pm @ Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral HOmes, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Tx 78237. A memorial rosary will occur @ 1:30, followed by mass @ Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1501 Tampico St. San Antonio, Tx 78207.
