I am a fellow graduate of Felix's high school, "Central Catholic"... I thought I would share a remembrance of how cool Flex was in high school. Out of the whole sophomore class in 1976. I think he was the first of all of us to get a car and I remember that Ford Grand Torino. I think it was yellow colored coupe. He was so proud of it & we all asked him about the specs & he knew all the details.... That memory always stuck 
in my mind. I'm sorry for your loss & we'll keep Felix in our prayers. Just to know, this year will be our 30th reunion and we'll certainly keep him in our thoughts... God Bless you all & take care. Dennis Quiroga

Ms Castellano, there are no words that can comfort you and your family on your loss. Just know that our prayers and thoughts are with you. I knew who your husband from when I worked an Item Manager in the same building at Kelly AFB. Also, later found out he marrried my sons teacher at St Ann's "Ms DeLaO". My son is Eric H. Cruz.

I REMEMBER WITH GREAT JOY HIS PIANO PLAYING AT SJBS. I AM HONORED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM AND AM DEEPLY SADDENED BY HIS LOSS. KNOW THAT YOU ARE ALL IN MY PRAYERS.

I attended St. John Bosco with Felix and later bumped into him at Kelly AFB. This was sent to me by another former SJB Alum, Rene Rendon. I had fond memories of Felix, he was very kind. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

It is with deep grief that I learned of the untimely death of Felix. He was a good friend and a good man. He will be sorely missed. We studied together at Our Lady of the Lake University where I first met him in 1980. He loved his family, always talking of them affectionately, and honored his parents as a good son should do. 
May God give you that consolation which is beyond all earthly power.

 Deacon Frank and Eva Castellano When our grandson Frank, Felix's second counsin died on March 23, 2002 we both found comfort in the love and prayers from friends and family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this journey. A friend sent us this Native American Prayer may it help you as it did us during this time of sorrow. I retired from GSA as Denver Area Property Officer in the Property Management Division in January and just learned of Felix's passing. My deepest sympathies to the Castellano Family. It was indeed a pleasure to have taken classes with Felix at OLLU while majoring in Public Administration.Felix was a very intelligent and studious person.I enjoyed exchanging ideas and dreams with him during our academic training at OLLU. Our Legal Process course at OLLU was most memorable. He was a fierece competitior and enjoyed life to its fulles. He will definitely be missed. God Bless the Castellano Family.

Sorry to hear about our Central brother, I will keep Felix and his family in my prayers.

Felix waged a very courageous battle with cancer. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, but I know that he is in a much better place now. Although I did not have interactions with Felix on a daily basis, I was fortunate enough to meet him when he visited our office and I worked with him on projects such as the Weekly Activity Reports. Felix was always very polite and co-operative and very prompt in replying to any questions I had. Felix will be missed by his friends at GSA. I retired from GSA last year, due to being diagnosed with colon cancer and having to undergo treatments. I have been following Felix's situation since then. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family. Felix always brought laughs to me and his classmates at Central.

Felix was a fine young man as my chemistry student. I pray that you, his family, feel the consolation of the Holy Spirit in this time of grief. Requiescat in pace.

I will remember Felix and his great smile going back to our days at CCHS. I'll also remember him for his Charger!

As he studied his past life he noticed some things that disturbed him. He turned to Jesus and asked about them. He said, "Lord, when I became your follower, you promised to be with me always. Why is it that when times were good, I see two sets of footprints; but when times were bad I see only one? Where were you?" Jesus responded, "My precious, precious child. I am saddened by the loss of Felix. We graduated from high school together and am shocked by his passing. He was a person that was easy to talk to and always was willing to listen. I don't recall him ever having negative things to say about anybody. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Felix and I were good friends and classmates at St John Bosco, Holy Cross, and Central Catholic High School. I will always remember him as a kind, compassionate person, with a great sense of humor. He would often make us laugh, much to the dismay of our teachers. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.

To the family of Felix. Felix was my friend, a dear friend and my co-worker. We would spent time talking about our lives. He was a wonderful and terrific person. He talked about his years as a child, a teenager, an adult - he talked about his parents and his sister. Then he talked about his girlfriend, their courtship, their wedding and their children. I attended the wedding and was very fond of Felix. He talked to me about economics here and in Mexico. Kelly's closure separated us and therefore I lost track of him. When they emailed me this morning and asked if I remembered him - then opened up the orbituary - what could I say - tears just rolled down my checks. I enjoyed his company and I will truly miss him and the memories we shared. I just want the family to know how special he was to me and I send my condolences to his wife, his children, his parents and his extended family at this time of sorrow. God Bless You for Felix is now with our Lord!

Patti, although we never met Felix, he has been in our hearts and prayers for the past year. This is a difficult time for you and your children, but there are many friends who will be there for you.
