

Felix Louis Stehling, Jr. age 85 of San Antonio, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012. He was the second oldest of 11 children born in Fredericksburg, Texas. From a young age Felix started selling insurance and then dabbled in a variety of other businesses including running numerous night clubs and restaurants. After his career in insurance he decided he was not cut out for that line of work and ventured into food, creating and introducing his now famous "Bean Burger" which laid the foundation for his most popular, Taco Cabana Restaurants. Through Felix's hard work and dedication, he became a successful entrepreneur. He was also devoted to his best friend and wife of 52 years, Billie Jo Stehling. They were always at each other's side and fishing was a favorite pastime of theirs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Louis Stehling, Sr. and wife, Elizabeth; his wife, Billy Jo Stehling; son, Thomas E. Moody; brother, Charles and sisters, Betsy, Mary and Virginia. Felix is survived by his son, Lynn Moody and wife, Susan; grandchildren, Koy Moody, Kirk Moody, Tammy Ford and Trey Moody; two great-granddaughters; brothers and sister, Ferdie, Corine, Bill, George, Mike and Pat; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
