He was born in San Francisco, California and graduated West Point Class of June 1943. He served in WWII and Viet Nam and retired in 1973. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher Veach Sr. and Julia Bardwell; and his sister, Juanita Frisch.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; daughters: Darcy, Sharon, Christine and husband, Peter Wilson; and Theresa; grandchildren: Charles Fletcher and Catherine Ainslie.
