Florencia M. Cano

Florencia Martinez Cano passed away on March 20, 2021 at the age of 86 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on October 27, 1934 in MacKay, Texas, she preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Martinez and Martina Nieto Martinez; her beloved husband, Manuel Cano; her son, Raul Cano; and her siblings.

Florencia is survived by her sons, Rogelio Cano (Elda), Ruben Cano (Dona), Jesus Cano (Virginia) and Daniel Cano (Paulette); and her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends who loved her.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Rd. 78237 – and the Funeral Mass at St. Gabriel Catholic Church – 747 S.W. 39th Street 78237 – will both be limited to 50 people. Face coverings will be required at all services, at all times.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, March 30th from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, March 31st, a Funeral Procession will depart at 9:30 AM to arrive at St. Gabriel Catholic Church for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II – 746 Castroville Road 78237.
