Florentino G. Zatarain

Florentino G. Zatarain, born September 4, 1934in San Antonio, TX was called to be with The Lord on February 4, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Mr. Zatarain was a devout and lifetime member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Mr. Zatarain also served as a board member for Plumbers and Pipe Fitters UA Local 142.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Erlinda Zatarain.

He is survived by his children; Manuel De La O, Sylvia De La O, Olivia Sauceda (Jose), Rosaura Apaez (Matthew), Mary Gross (Ray), Ernesto De La O (Linda), Florentino Zatarain Jr. (Linda), Ramona Contreras, Nancy Bellett (John), Norma Castillo and Delia Zatarain (Jorge); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Pilar Zatarain.

The Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237, followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7: 00 p.m.

The Procession will depart from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at St. Jude Catholic Church, 130 South San Augustine, San Antonio, TX 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery III.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, facial coverings are recommended to be worn at all times while in the building.
