Fr. Michael H. Norton, beloved Priest, Best Friend, Father, Brother, & Uncle, was called home to our Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2007. He was 64 years old. He fought honorably for the past 22 months with Brain Cancer. He was ordained February 6, 1971, and entered the Military in 1974 serving this great nation for 20 years. Upon retirement, he called San Antonio home and worked for Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, Lackland AFB Chapel, VA Hospital Kerrville, Kerrville State Hospital, and on call Chaplain at BAMC. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marian Norton, his brother in law Dennis Magill, his best friend and religious mentor, Fr. Nick Arioli and numerous brothers & sisters serving the United States Military. He is survived by his best friend, Patricia Lewis; his children, Stephanie Norton, Jennifer & Chad Slovensky, Stephen & Rita Norton, Michael & Jessica Norton, & Nicholas Norton; his 7 grandchildren; his twin sister, Patricia Magill; his sisters, Marilyn Norton, Ilene & Tony Fabian; & his older brother, Robert Norton; & numerous nieces and nephews.
