She was born in Pampa, TX, and attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Texas. She was married for 63 years to M. L. Ferg Ferguson, who operated Ferguson Map Company until he retired in 1978.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her brother Warren Finley, and her sister Flora Dean Martin.
She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority, Battle of Flowers Association, the San Antonio Country Club and Los Alegredores. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Bible leader for many, many years and a godmother to numerous children.
Survivors: sons, Charles Warren Ferguson and wife, Judy, Kerrville, TX and Richard Finley Ferguson and wife Sylvia and daughter Consuelo, Sisterdale, TX; granddaughter, Dena Ferguson Jenkins and husband Rene', San Antonio; grandson, Troy Martin and wife Rhonda, Austin, TX; great-grandsons Duncan and Lyon Jenkins, Zachary and Hudson Martin. .
