Frances G. Hidalgo born on September 17, 1938 in Brackettville, TX went to be with the Lord on March 9, 2013 at the age of 74. She was a kind spirited woman who loved life. She loved music and spending time with her granddaughter, family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling especially to her hometown of Brackettville, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Gonzales and Sarah Flores Gonzales; her husband, Eugenio Hidalgo. Mrs. Hidalgo is survived by daughters and sons-in-law; Mary Virginia Hidalgo, Margaret H. and Charles A. Timms, Leslie and Juan Lizalde; granddaughter, Mari Isabella Lizalde; sisters, Ramona Kirk and Olivia Villarreal; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday March 14, 2013 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home on Friday March 15, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, 8510 S. Zarzamora St. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.3.
