Frances Turk, age 93, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 in Boerne, Texas. Born October 6, 1921 near Sweet Home, Texas to Reinhold & Mary Koenig, she is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-six years, Herbert A. Turk Sr.
Survivors include her sons Tony, Chris (Barbara)and Peyton of Boerne, 3 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mary Migl, and numerous nieces and nephews. An Air Force wife, she resided in or visited many places over 30 years and lived another 34 years enjoying retirement in Windcrest. She was an avid bowler for many years and a very devoted Cowboys and Spurs fan. At St John Neumann Catholic Church, she enjoyed being in the choir and the Altar Guild.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 6680 Crestway by Rev. Tony Cummins. Services will conclude at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St John Neumann Catholic Church Building Fund.
