Francisca R. Castillo, born on September 16, 1929 in Hondo, TX was called to be with The Lord on August 22, 2024 at the age of 94. Mrs. Castillo was an avid birdwatcher and loved to work with plants and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Rocha and Juanita Rosales Rocha; husband, Rufino Castillo; her sister, Mary Martinez.
She is survived by her niece, Dora Salmon; great niece, Jessica Camacho.
The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 2, 2024 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237. The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1204 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio,TX 78237.
