Francisco Cruz Jr.

Francisco Cruz, Jr., age 51, passed away on October 14, 2019. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 15, 1967. Francisco proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He participated in several U.S. Operations including Operation Desert Storm in Kuwait and Operation Restore Hope in Somalia. Francisco (Pops) was a loving son, father, grandfather, and uncle who will be dearly missed.

Francisco is survived by his parents, John and Florence Entler; his wife, Ann Cruz; his children, Jake Anthony Cruz (Rachel Cruz), Amber Nicole Cruz (Jessica Granados), and Joshua Robert Cruz (Ashlyn Cruz); grandchildren, Izabella and Ezra Cruz, Alicia Granados, and Skarlett Cruz; his siblings, Eddie McMorris, Sandra Wallace, and Anthony J. Barajas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 21st from 6-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, October 22nd at 9:30 am with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
