Francisco Copado Leyva born on October 5, 1937 went to be with our Lord on January 20, 2015 at the age of 77. He is preceded in death by his parents: Guadalupe and Maria Leyva, sister: Paula Munoz, brother: Faustino Leyva, and grandson Jason Leyva. He is survived by his loving wife: Jacinta Leyva, children: Larry Leyva, Gilbert Leyva (Martina), Sylvia L. Gonzalez, Samuel Leyva (Norma), Danny Leyva (Joy Ann) and Mary Helen Campos, 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and siblings: Guadalupe Orozco, Rosa Leyva and Norma Swaka.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Road, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass of the resurrection at St. Mary Catholic Church in Somerset, Texas. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
