

Francisco Villarreal passed away on January 19, 2010 after a dignified battle with cancer. He was born son of Mr. and Mrs. Catarino Villarreal in Uribeno, Texas on September 17, 1932. He was an alumnus of St. Joseph's Academy in Laredo, Texas. Francisco was called to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954. He was a civil servant for 35 years at Kelly AFB and retired from Fort Sam Houston. He was an avid golfer since 1960. Francisco is survived by his wife of 51 years, Aminda Uribe Villarreal; son, Rolando and his wife, Amy and their children, Roland Jr., Arthur and Alyssa; son, Hector and his wife, Elizabeth and their son, Sean; daughter, Laura L. Donnel and her husband, James and their children, Amanda, Diana and Emma. He is also survived by his brothers Derly, Roel, Anibal, and their wives. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a generous and happy man. Visitation will be on Sunday, January 24, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
