Frank R. Flores, born January 18, 1933 in Lockhart, Texas went home to God on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the age of 78. He died peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by parents, Juan and Julia Flores; a sister, Bertha Baltierra; first wife, Ofelia; son, Frank, Jr; and infant daughter, Linda.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Mary Mendez Flores, devoted daughter, Carol Bucchi and husband Ron, sisters Rosa Rangel (Martin), Lupe Castilleja; brothers John (Audelia), Joe (Sylvia) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His career as an insurance agent spanned for over 50 years.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel at 5 P.M. with services beginning at 7 P.M., officiated by Rev. Glen Masters. The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
