

He was born January 05, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio to Randy and Mikie (Garrison) Kelly. He was married to his wife and best friend Nikki (Hensley) Kelly on February 29, 1992 in Odessa, Texas.
Michael adored his amazing children with all of his being and always looked forward to the times they could spend together. Michael loved his Spurs, doing jigsaw puzzles, muscle cars and backyard farming. He enjoyed spending time at the San Antonio Zoo and found peace and tranquility walking amongst the animals. While he loved all of these activities, his enjoyment was compounded when he could do them with his wife and kids.
Michael received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas in 1989 and his Master of Business Administration from University of Texas Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas in 1994. He was an Administrator for South Texas Home Health in Pleasanton, Texas. He loved his job and co-workers and was the reigning administrator of the year. He will be deeply missed by his work family.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Willie and Ruby (Delz) Garrison and his mother-in-law Sandy (Hopkins) Hensley.
Michael is survived by his wife Nikki of San Antonio, children Kelsie Kelly, Frank Nicholas Kelly and fiancée Brianna Leonard, Quincy Kelly, Peri Kelly, all from San Antonio, Francesca Copuozzolo of Eboli, Italy and Kamila Bekbaganbetova of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Parents Randy & Mikie Kelly of Odessa, Texas, brother Todd and wife Cindy Bausch of Iraan, Texas, sisters, Jaide and husband Bob Hazelwood of Iraan, Texas, Lacy and husband Charles “Booger” Brooks of San Angelo, Texas, Tave Kelly of Abilene, Texas, sister-in-law Lori and husband Gary Cunningham of Odessa, Texas, father-in-law Jerry Hensley and his wife Cheryl of Saginaw, Texas. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will include Gary Cunningham, Garrett Cunningham, Charles “Booger” Brooks, Alec Friedman, Matt Muehlstein, and Bob Hazelwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Cunningham, Jake King, Kullin Alldredge and Drew Mittal.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway. A chapel service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Restland Cemetery in Iraan, Texas.
Memorial donations may be made to the San Antonio Zoo.
