Frank Gil Martinez

Frank Gil Martinez flew home with the Angels on January 17th, 2014, at the age of 81. He was born in Fentress, Texas, on June 3rd, 1932. He was a strong and humbled man who was beloved by many. He was preceded in death by his daughter Minerva McKinney, Great Granddaughter Savannah Lynn Martinez, Parents Eulogio R Martinez & Juanita G Martinez, Brother and Sister; Guadalupe, Pedro, Modesto, Margarita, & Ramon Martinez. He is love and will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Gumecinda M Martinez; daughters & sons, Margie Cruz (Juan), Melissa Galvan (Richard), Melinda Hernandez (Arturo), Frank Martinez Jr (Terry), Mary Casanova (Bobby), Matilda Huizar (Gilbert), Freddie Martinez & Marlene Esparza (Anthony), Brothers and Sisters; Eusebia De La Cruz, Tony Martinez (Amelia), Oliva Aleman (Pedro), Janie Guerrero, Eddie Martinez and numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitations will begin Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home 2525 Palo Alto Rd San Antonio, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. for an 11:00 Mass of Resurrection at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Elmendorf, TX with Interment to follow in First Memorial Burial Park.
