Frank Neely was born on December 18, 1921 in Hoyt, Oklahoma to Amos and Mae Neely. He passed away peacefully on April 18, 2014. Frank entered the United States Army in 1939 and retired as a Major in 1961 after 22 years of service to his country. Frank married Dolores Lea Riddle in 1942. Frank entered the real estate business and worked in Austin immediately following his military retirement. After moving to San Antonio in 1966, Frank was Vice president of Cadwallader Mortgage Investment Corp. followed by owning one of the first Red Carpet real estate operations in Texas.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Dolores; daughter, Jo McCollum (Coy) of Fair Oaks Ranch; son, Steve Neely (Nancy) of Reno, Nevada; grandsons, Blaine Tupper (Shannon) and Sean Neely; great-granddaughters, McKenzie and Vallen Tupper.
