Freda Semaan was born December 28, 1922 to the late Hana Semaan Hodge in San Antonio and passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her home. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio.
After receiving her Bachelor's degree from Trinity University in 1946, Freda had a career as a Court Reporter in the Bexar County Courthouse under Judge Joe Brown and others.
Freda was preceded in death by a long list of Semaan Family members in the San Antonio area. She is survived by her cousins Patti Semaan Gant, Donna Haile, Joan Blankenship and Nathan Haile, and other extended family members.
The family extends their appreciation to Marlene Thornhill, Dezoree Henry, Trish, Mary Ellen, Lissette, and a host of other caregivers.
The family will receive friends MONDAY, JULY 25TH FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. AT PORTER LORING.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 PM ON TUESDAY, JULY 26, 2016 AT PORTER LORING CHAPEL ON MCCULLOUGH. INTERMENT IN MISSION BURIAL PARK SOUTH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any Animal Shelter, Public Television or to a charity of your choice. She had a soft heart and a love for animals.
