Freddye was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. During WWII she worked as a clerk for the U.S. Army Air Force in Waco where she met her future husband, Eddie, an Aviation Cadet. It was love at first sight and they married November 11, 1945 in Waco.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley Edelman and her husband Raymond, brother-in-law George Duchin, sister-in-law Betty Berg and her husband Sidney.
Freddye is survived by her husband Eddie; three sons and daughters-in-law: Brian and Marilyn, Mike and Sherri, and David and Rhonda; grandchildren: Jeff and wife Erin, Ellen, Melissa, Steven and Jeremy; sister-in-law Ceil Duchin; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
