Frederick W. Keicer Jr., passed away on December 2, 2013. Frederick proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1974 to 1982 in the Signal Corp. He later worked in the telecommunications field for ITT, LDDS, WorldCom, Verizon, and his present job with Novatel. He enjoyed fishing, model trains and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan all his life. He also enjoyed doing BBQ cook-offs with his friends from the Kanak Team.
He was preceded in death by his mother Muriel M. (Hussey) Munson and stepfather Harry I. Munson. He is survived by his loving wife Lucille M. (Specht) Keicer, children Jennifer R. Keicer Russell and husband Travis, Bryon J. Keicer and girlfriend Renee Vick, grandchildren Zylan W. Keicer, Harlen Carter Vick, Jacob Berry, and Vic Berry; sisters Carolyn McCardle, Frances Varner and husband Lewis, Eileen Burdge, Barbara Weiss, Katie Munson; brothers Brian Munson, Harry Munson.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 3 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway San Antonio, TX 78218.
